Kangal iron In the production process, the billets taken to the rolling mill are heated up to 1.200ºC in annealing furnaces. The scale on the billets taken from the annealing furnace is cleaned with descaler pressurised water. The descaled billets are also subjected to roughing and cooling processes and turned into coil iron.
