Round Flat Rebars

Round flat construction irons, also called as shafts, are manufactured by hot rolling technique and presented for sale. After the hot rolling procedure, it is drawn from cold moulds and made into bars. In this way, it gains its durable and long-lasting form. Their durable chemical structure, corrosion resistance and flat surface make them suitable for use in construction and industrial areas. It provides a strong grip especially in concrete structures and a suitable working environment for other installations. These products, which mostly remain in the concrete structure, maintain their form and chemical structure for many years without the need for maintenance and repair. In this way, it ensures that concrete structures, in which people spend a great deal of time in their daily life, cultural, business and educational life, become stronger, balanced and durable. Rebars of all sizes produced are highly resistant to tensile rupture. These products, which have extremely high impact and corrosion resistance, become preferable with their shrinkage and expansion properties.

Areas of Use

While forming reinforced concrete elements such as foundation beam, column, beam, slab, curtain and raft, concrete meets compressive stresses and rebar meets tensile stresses. In order to increase the tensile strength of rebar, notches are made on the edges. Rebars with notches made in this way are called ribbed rebar. In our country, rebar is available in the market between 8 and 60 mm diameter and 12 m length. Iron traders generally make the bonds in 2000 -2500 kg. Round flat rebar has high strength and is used in highly important reinforced concrete structures with its welding and folding properties. Ribbed rebar is definitely used in structures that require special design such as skyscrapers, dams, subways, motorways. Due to its low price and high strength additives, ribbed rebar is one of the biggest components of the structures.

  1. For products thicker than 40 mm, % Si should be 0.15-0.40.
  2. When the total aluminium content is min. %0.020, the minimum value limitation for Si does not apply.
