Natural Gas Installation Pipe
Underground and aboveground pipes are used for natural gas transmission. Where these pipes are used, they must provide sufficient resistance to environmental conditions and effects, as well as fulfil the ideal and optimum cost conditions for the need for use. Determination of appropriate conditions has revealed different standards as a result of various experiences and accumulations. Various pipes used in the natural gas sector in our country are used in accordance with certain standards.
Underground and above ground steel pipes are used in accordance with TS EN ISO 3183 and equivalent API 5L and standards such as ASTM A53 and ASTM A106. Seamless copper tubes are used according to TS EN 1057+A1 standard. Polyethylene pipes are used in accordance with TS EN 1555-1, TS EN 1555-2, TS EN 1555-3+A1 standards. You can access the quality certificates here.
Bendable hose type pipes are used in accordance with TS EN 15266 and TS 10670 standards. TS EN ISO 3183 standard steel pipes used in the natural gas sector you are examining are equivalent to API 5L standard as standard content. Pipes that meet these equivalent standards provide different quality and specification levels. Material differences in the structure of steel pipes, differences in production techniques enable them to reach various quality levels.
Natural gas installation pipes include different classifications. The locations and requirements of the lines used in the installation after and before the station or service box have caused different classifications.
